Villa Estuary is run by one family, and Madu is part of it. He looks after the property day to day, welcomes guests when they arrive, and arranges trips for anyone who would like to see more of Sri Lanka while they are here.
Guests have been thanking Madu by name in their reviews for years — usually for something he did without being asked. He is the person who notices that a family has arrived tired and hungry, or that someone is quietly trying to organise a surprise.
Alongside looking after the property, Madu arranges tours across the island, from a morning at Galle Fort to a full circuit of the cultural triangle. Everything is arranged through the villa — simply let us know what you would like to see.
Holds an authorised tourist licence issued by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
Grouped by how far they go, so you can match a trip to the time you have
Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Dambulla and Yala are four to five hours from Induruwa in each direction, so we recommend staying overnight rather than attempting them in a single day. Prices depend on distance, duration and the size of your group — please contact us and we will confirm before you commit to anything.
Madu can meet you at Bandaranaike International Airport and bring you straight to the villa, and take you back at the end of your stay. Late-night and early-morning flights are no problem. Send us your flight details when you book and we will have someone waiting for you.
From reviews left after their stay
“Beautiful, peaceful place with clean rooms, a delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. Special thanks to Madu for looking after us… Would definitely stay again!”
“A big THANKYOU to Madu for all his help and hospitality.” Madu went out of his way to help his wife arrange a surprise she had planned during their stay.
Contact the villa and we will arrange it with Madu for you.
